über das gui lässt sich das nicht machen da somit die verbindung via ssh nötig ist.
als erstes wird ssh auf dem esxi host aktiviert wenn nicht schon gemacht:
als nächstes z.b. per putty auf die vmkernel ip des esxi host verbinden und folgenden befehl auslösen:
esxcli network ip route ipv4 add --gateway 192.168.0.1 --network 192.168.100.0/24
in diesem beispiel ist die 192.168.0.1 der router hinter welchem sich das zeilnetz 192.168.100.0 befindet.
anschliessend kann man sich die neue route mit esxcli network ip route ipv4 list anzeigen lassen.
