ich habe das problem, dass mir eine vm den speicher gefressen hat. sprich die ganze provisionierte disk wurde auf dem storage reserviert obwohl die disk auf thin gestellt ist.
vmware bietet mit dem befehl vmkfstools -K vmkd-file die möglichkeit den storage manuel wieder frei zu machen.
bei einer testvm hat sich der effektiv genutzte speicher von 6.2GB auf 5.2GB reduziert.
einziger nachteil: die vm muss ausgeschaltet sein.
